A 2017 master's graduate in neurosurgery, Dr. Issabekov is now pursuing an MD/PhD in medical neuroscience at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, focusing on deep brain stimulation (DBS) and microelectrode recording under Professor Andrea Kühn. He is co-founder of the Qazaq International Science and Technology Association (QIST), a global network of more than 200 members from 31 countries that connects researchers, mentors, and industry leaders through guest lecture series, AI research forums, and grant programs.
