A 2018 master's graduate in anesthesiology, Dr. Shrestha now practices as an anesthesiologist at Bir Hospital, National Academy of Medical Sciences, Kathmandu. Specializing in perioperative and neuropathic pain management, she has published 15 research papers in journals including the International Journal of Surgery  and BMJ Open , and was recognized for her poster presentation at the 2023 Tianyuan International Medical Students' Academic Forum. She speaks five languages, including Chinese.
