Dr. Shahid (MBBS, class of 2008) is an emergency medicine specialist at University of Heidelberg Hospital, having completed specialist training in emergency and trauma medicine within Germany's BG Kliniken network, with additional certifications from the US, UK, and Europe. He is founder and president of APPS Europe and a board member of the Pakistan Society of Emergency Medicine. His memberships include associate membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and permanent membership of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and he received the Honorary Award from Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
